Jen Riley, NDD

I attended Wimbledon School of Art where I studied Theatrical Design.

After graduating I was  employed in the Scenic Design Department at the BBC TV Centre London, working on programmes such as Dr Who, Monty Python and various period dramas.

Later I taught in adult education and briefly at Wycombe Abbey School where I later became their Consultant Theatre Designer.

During all this time I continued to paint and my preferred medium at the moment is acrylic on canvas.

I enjoy painting still life and flowers, often in interiors. I also work in many media, such as water colours, ink, oil pastels and I enjoy keeping a holiday illustrated journal when I go abroad.

I open my home yearly to the Bucks Open Studios.
