Wildlife Artist of the Year 2019 – DEADLINE: 18 February 2019

Established by David Shepherd, this prestigious art competition celebrates the world’s diverse range of natural beauty. The contest is open to amateur and professional artists and welcomes all traditional artistic mediums, excluding digital and photography. Entry fee £25.

1st prize £10,000, 2nd £1,000, seven category winners receive £500 each. Shortlisted entries will be exhibited in a London gallery.

Categories are: Earth’s Wild Beauty, Animal Behaviour, Into the Blue, Urban Wildlife, Vanishing Fast, Wings, and Human Impact (for artists aged 17–25).
