Following on from the successes of 2016 and 2017, the third Emberton Summer Art Exhibition will be taking place in All Saints’ Church, Emberton, near Olney, 19th – 23rd July 2019.
Last year several hundred visitors attended the exhibition, following on from the seventy guests who attended the Preview on the Friday evening before. The evening guests enjoyed the experience of sipping champagne and nibbling canapes as they viewed the exhibits by local artists. A wealth of talent was on display – from delicate watercolours and pencil drawings to vibrant acrylic work, beautifully crafted wooden bowls and ceramics.
The work of over 60 artists and crafts people were exhibited, and the artists themselves were able to chat to visitors about their work during the Friday evening, and over the weekend. Some artists also took part in workshops and masterclasses.
This year the clarion call is to ARTISTS and VISITORS. We would be very interested in hearing from any artists and crafts people who would like to take part in the exhibition. Further details can be obtained from Caroline Ellis on (01234) 712073 or Sheila at firstname.lastname@example.org
And …… we would love more visitors! We pride ourselves on staging a very professional exhibition which provides an ideal stage for talented artists and artisans to display and sell their works, and for art lovers and supporters of local artists to enjoy a super spectacle of artistic endeavour!
So, if you are a budding artist or looking to purchase artworks, Emberton is the place to be this July.
(Emberton is a small village in north Buckinghamshire, some 10 miles north of Milton Keynes on the A509.)
